The San Roque Club - Cadiz

San Roque, venue of the PGA European Qualifying School for the last couple of years, is located next to the N340 close to Sotogrande.

The San Roque countryside used to be the property of the Domecq family, the famous Spanish sherry-house. This superb and very populair championship course, owned by Japanese Company Asahi Kanko and designed by Dave Thomas, opened in 1988.

Although one of the longer courses in andalucia, San Roque is well playable but do not get over excited by the wonderful panoramic views! Precaution and precision on this course, with its many cork-oak trees and well-placed water hazards, is required.

The excellent San Roque Suites Hotel is part of the San Roque Club. Interesting point is that the Andalusian headquarter of the PGA European Tour are settled at San Roque.
