Opened in 1991 Lauro Golf is situated in the Sierra de Mijas at the Costa del Sol in Spain. A beautiful area with rather gentle slopes land inwards between Malaga and Torremolinos.
The Italian designer Folco Nardi designed the golf course. An original feature of Lauro Golf is that each hole is named after a bullfighter! The golf course has all characteristics of a Spanish parkland course with its orange, lemon and olive trees. Especially the olive trees can cause some challenging ball positions if you are not accurate enough.
An extra 9 holes on the other side of the C-344 opened in 2002.
The clubhouse of Lauro Golf is established in a 200-year-old cortijo (Andalucian Farmhouse). Lauro Golf is located west of Alhaurin de la Torre towards Alhaurin el Grande at the Costa del Sol.
