Having passed the entrance of Los Flamingos for years during our stays at the Costa del Sol and finding there was no course (like passing El Chaparral near Fuengirola) my curiosity was easily risen finding that this time actually there was a golf course and it only opened last month (I visited Los Flamingos the end of July).
There is still a lot of construction going on but the course is open and the clubhouse was almost finished. Visiting Los Flamingos is definitely worthwhile. Holes where a good drive is essential are alternated with holes that are more forgiving. Although it is a young course, its playing condition was good. The course offers superb views in the direction of the Mediterranean sea and Gibraltar.
The pace of play was perfect (probably because this course has to be discovered yet). I can certainly recommend it!
Perhaps the green fee is a bit high compared to other courses in this area!
