La Cala North is a quality golf course but is more suited to what I'd call "players". It's not exactly "Joe" friendly and will punish a poorly hit shot. It's a test of golfing skill and nerve and I guarentee you WILL use every club in your bag. The course is in great condition and the pace of play is good. It is really hilly but this doesn't detract from the enjoyment (unless you try and walk it), just the opposite in fact. It's to play courses like this in the sunshine that we come on holiday. If I wanted to play a flat course with good greens there's about 100 within 25 miles of my home town. If anyone tells you this is anything other than a great course, it's only becuase there game couldn't handle it. Take note: If your handicap is over 15, you probably won't enjoy he North Course. Buggies are a MUST !!
