On hearing that Los Arqueros was a Seve course I think I could be forgiven if I was expecting somewhat wider fairways. I can only assume that the lack of space is responsible for the incredibly narrow fairways as I am sure that Seve would have an absolute disaster trying to hit them from the tee. The narrowness of the fairways is not a problem in itself but it is a bit of an all or nothing course - if you miss the fairway you are likely to be in a lake or bush. There is no inbetween.
Having said that it is a pretty course and lots of fun. The surrounding developments look excellent and would make a fantastic second home purchase and the facilities were second to none. So enjoy, dont worry about your score and make sure you have an arsenal of golf balls in your bag before you set off.
