Only play Parador if either you cannot get a game anywhere else on the Costa Del Sol or you're a plane spotter. In 5 years of golf tours to Spain this is easily the most disappointing I've played. Firstly, it's directly under the flight path for Malaga airport and the planes are very low so be prepared for constant loud engine noise. Secondly, the course is flat and boring with loads of straight up and down type holes. It may be one of the oldest courses in the region but it's certainly one the least imaginative. The course was packed when we had the misfortune to play it and we found players jumping in to play one hole then disappearing to presumably push in front of others. No marshals were to be seen anywhere. The one high point was the fact that part of the course runs alongside a nudist beach, which provides entertainment of a different kind.
