 Course Description

The La Quinta Golf & Country Club is established in the hills northeast of San Pedro de Alcántara at the Costa del Sol in Spain. The golf course majestically overlooks the Golf Valley of Marbella. La Quinta has successfully built up an excelllent reputation since it opened in 1989.

The golf course consists of 3 loops of 9 holes (Guadaiza, San Pedro and Ronda) and a successful Golf Academy with excellent practise facilities. Former Ryder Cup player

and World Champion Manuel Piñero, also one of the designers of the golf course, supervise the Academy.

Once arriving at the La Quinta Golf & Country Club your eyes will get caught by the spectacular view at the 1th and especially the 9th hole of the Ronda course with a lake in front of the green and colorful vegetation between the fairway and the road. Longhitters will definitely be tempted to go for the green on this short par 4 risking ending up in the lake or the bunker on the left.

La Quinta plays relatively short but the golf course is quite undulated with small fairways and therefor it is essential to be accurate from the tee. Stunning panoramic views over the Golf Valley and the sea will be yours on the Ronda Course.

La Dorado, the clubhouse restaurant with several private rooms, is excellent and worth a visit on its own. The new Westin Hotel at the course has been built to meet the highest expectations.

Green fee discounts, hotel, hotel discounts and tee time reservations on la Quinta are available.
